This was an experiment with old physical methods to create a graphic rather than through computer generation. Photography and a photocopier were used to create the background ‘swimming pool’ then the divers were painted with gouache onto an a clear acetate sheet which was then overlaid onto the background for scanning. Definitely more time consuming and messy to create by hand but probably more fun, good to go back to old school methods every now and again.
